Academic Advisors and Faculty Mentors

All Engineering and Engineering Technology majors are assigned a professional (primary) advisor and a faculty mentor.

  • Professional Academic Advisors advise all students within their assigned majors/alphabet. They are often a first point of contact and can refer students to all of the amazing campus resources.

Professional academic advisors are well versed in KSU’s engineering majors and the general education curriculum. They also make it a priority to review how your transfer credits are applied to your degree.

To identify your academic advisor, search by major below or at advising.kennesaw.edu.

  • Faculty mentors serve as subject matter experts. They offer additional information about research opportunities, career and industry advice, insight regarding technical electives and so much more.
