Housing and Transportation
Housing
Housing on this program consists primarily of apartments in Montepulciano. Other than a three-night weekend trip with hotel accommodations in Rome, students will have the stability of the same apartment with which to call home. These apartments are fully furnished and kitchen-equipped for students to cook their own meals, although one evening meal per week will be spent together as a group - in a local restaurant.
Transportation
All required transportation, including airfare, is included. This includes round-trip ground transportation between arrival airport and Montepulciano, as well as a four-day visit to Rome incorporating the service requirement for the Global Learning Scholarship. The bulk of daily life will involve walking between apartment, stores, and campus. Students are welcome to arrange additional self-directed travel during long weekends at their own expense, and the director will assist with any necessary informational or logistical support.
