K-Space is a 1,000 sq.ft makerspace located in Room 308 within the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SPCEET) at Kennesaw State University. It provides students the opportunity to pursue fabrication projects related to coursework, research, sponsored projects or their own creative ideas. K-Space houses equipment for rapid prototyping, the manual fabrication of polymers, wood or aluminum, and electronic and mechatronic components. It is available to KSU engineering students, faculty, and staff. Students from other majors may use K-Space for a nominal fee. Contact Michael Rogers (mroge107@kennesaw.edu) for more information.
