The Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SPCEET) Senior Design Expo showcases the best capstone engineering design projects across the college's six departments and disciplines. Throughout the semester, students have designed, built, tested, and presented innovative projects that address real-world issues and directly impact our community.
Prizes include the top designs in various categories. Judges are members of the college's various Industry Advisory Boards (IABs), other industry partners, and faculty.
Projects will feature teams from the following disciplines:
- Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Industrial and Systems Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering
- Plus, the Interdisciplinary Design Course
Spring 22 Senior Design Expo Information
The Event Center (Gymnasium) will be open from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM on Monday, May 2. Please have your equipment/poster by your assigned space by 7:00 PM on May 2. Your assigned space will be provided to you via your Senior Design course instructor.
There will be a complimentary shuttle service for students every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on May 2 to assist in the transportation of your equipment/poster. Please meet at the loading dock behind the Engineering Technology Center (Q) and you will be dropped off at the Event Center.
On May 2 and May 4, you may park in Lot P21 to load/unload your project. You may also use Lot P21 AFTER the event (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) on May 3 to load/unload your projects. *You will NOT be allowed in the lot BEFORE 3:00 PM on May 3.

Parking Information
Thank you for your interest in attending the upcoming Senior Design Expo on KSU’s Marietta campus! The Expo is set up in the Gymnasium, or S2-Building (otherwise known as the Event Center), which also is marked #635 and can be found in Box Q-15 of the Marietta Campus Map.
The Gymnasium is marked by a red arrow (below) at 635 Walter Kelly Road, Marietta, GA 30060. The South Marietta Parkway SE Hwy-120 Loop leads to Technology Way and Cobb Parkway SE Hwy-41 leads to Polytechnic Lane.

JudgesJudges can park in Lot P21 (shown by the green arrow in the map above) directly next to the Gymnasium/Event Center. *ADA parking is available here.
Judges will also have a gathering area in the Architecture Building (N), Room 103. This is directly across from the venue and marked in the map above by the blue arrow. *Please use the elevator down to N-103.

About the Senior Design Experience
SPCEET's related senior design two-course capstone sequence culminates the undergraduate engineering education at KSU. Students learn and implement design concepts for products/systems from concept to market.
